Foam spray promises 99.99 per cent antibacterial helmet cleaning, dermatologically tested for skin and hair safety

Castrol India has launched the Castrol all in one helmet cleaner, expanding its auto care portfolio. The product is aimed at two-wheeler riders and seeks to improve helmet hygiene, an area often overlooked.

The foam-based spray is formulated to clean both the inner lining and outer shell of helmets. It provides 99.99 per cent antibacterial action through silver ion technology and has been dermatologically tested for skin and hair safety.

In India’s hot and dusty conditions, riders often rely on water or household detergents to clean helmets. Castrol says the new cleaner is intended to offer a more convenient and effective alternative. The product is available across castrol retail and workshop outlets nationwide and on ecommerce with visibility supported by in-store promotions and digital campaigns.

Kedar Lele, Managing Director of Castrol India , said the launch is part of the company’s efforts to expand its auto care product line. The company’s existing range includes Castrol chain cleaner, Castrol chain lube, and Castrol 3 in1 shiner.
