The keys to the 14T Boss Electric Truck were handed over to Billion E-Mobility at the inaugural edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 in New Delhi

Hinduja Group’s leading entity, Ashok Leyland, has initiated the distribution of its intermediate and heavy-duty electric trucks to clients, the company confirmed, according to media reports. At the inaugural Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 held in New Delhi, the keys to the 14T Boss Electric Truck were handed over to Billion E-Mobility, as disclosed by the company.

Shenu Agarwal, Managing Director and CEO of Ashok Leyland expressed pride in delivering the initial fully electric vehicle to their customer. The Boss 4T Electric Truck, previously exhibited at the Auto Expo, signifies a significant milestone in their pursuit of sustainable and efficient transportation, Agarwal remarked.

Highlighting the commitment towards green mobility, Agarwal emphasised the importance of these vehicles in addressing the evolving demands of both Indian and global markets. Ashok Leyland’s participation at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo showcased their forward-thinking approach, featuring future-ready vehicles such as the 9M hydrogen fuel cell bus, AVTR LNG 6×4 tractor, 55T EV tractor and Switch IeV4 electric light commercial vehicles.
