The company aims to establish a leadership position in India’s large EV Cargo market with innovative offerings

Altigreen, a commercial electric vehicle manufacturer based in Bengaluru, announced its ambitious goal of selling 1,500 units of the fast-charging three-wheeler cargo neEV Tez by the end of this year. The company is targeting various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, beverages, and all types of multi-goods distribution transport, with the neEV Tez, which it claims to be the fastest-charging three-wheeler in the world.

According to the company, the new neEV Tez can be fully charged in just 15 minutes using the rapid charging option. Altigreen recently launched its three-wheeler cargo Tez in the Delhi market, delivering 200 NeEV Tez vehicles to Magenta Mobility, an e-mobility services provider for goods transport.

Furthermore, Altigreen has plans to expand its presence in markets such as Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Altigreen’s neEV Tez offers a unique three-in-one charging feature, allowing users to choose between normal, fast, and rapid charging options.

At Altigreen’s e-pumps’ rapid charging network, the neEV Tez can be fully charged in just 15 minutes. In contrast, it takes one hour at the Bharat DCOO1 charging station and 3.5 hours when using the ubiquitous 220V/16 A AC socket, as per the company’s information.

Debashis Mitra, Altigreen’s Director of Sales, Service, and Marketing, highlighted,  the only OEM in the industry to offer three-in-one charging options. This will assist thier customers in better utilising their vehicles and maximising their earnings. Altigreen aims to establish a leadership position in India’s large EV cargo market with this innovative offering.

Additionally, Altigreen’s solution addresses efficiency and operational challenges for EV fleet operators. Founded in 2013, the Bengaluru-based company designs, engineers, and manufactures EVs tailored for the last-mile transportation segment.
