Adani Green Pushes Operational Capacity To 16,598.6 MW

Fresh solar and hybrid projects in Khavda strengthen Adani Green Energy’s power portfolio

Adani Green Energy (Agel), the renewable energy arm of the Adani Group has raised its operational capacity to 16,598.6 megawatts with the commissioning of fresh solar and hybrid projects in Gujarat.

The company through its subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Fifty-Six, has brought an 87.5 MW solar project on stream. In addition, Adani Green Energy Twenty-Five B has commissioned a 25 MW hybrid project at the same site in Khavda. Both units were completed and cleared for operation on 30 September.

With these additions, Agel continues to hold its place among India’s leading renewable energy firms. The group has been scaling up capacity rapidly across solar, wind and hybrid projects in pursuit of its longer-term target to establish one of the world’s largest portfolios of clean energy assets.
