KP Group Ink Rs 8,000 Cr Deal For Hydrogen & EV Fuel Network In Gujarat

Clean mobility investment to generate 1,000 jobs and boost e-transport infrastructure

KP Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Energy and Petrochemicals Department of the Government of Gujarat to set up a network of hydrogen and electric vehicle (EV) fuel stations across the state.

The agreement, formalised during the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (North Region) at Ganpat University in Mehsana, represents a significant step in advancing Gujarat’s clean energy and e-mobility infrastructure.

As part of the MoU, KP Group will invest around Rs 8,000 crore to establish hydrogen and EV refuelling facilities throughout Gujarat, creating an estimated 1,000 jobs. The initiative is expected to bolster the state’s efforts to build a low-carbon, sustainable transport system while positioning Gujarat as a leader in India’s emerging green mobility landscape.

The state government, through its Energy and Petrochemicals Department, will support KP Group in securing the required permissions, registrations, and approvals in accordance with existing policies and regulations to ensure smooth and timely project implementation.
