Kazam Crosses 100K EV Charger Installations, Boosts India’s EV Infrastructure Expansion

Company’s growing network and OEM tie-ups support national target of 30 per cent EV adoption by 2030
Kazam, an electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and energy technology company, has announced the installation of over one lakh chargers across India. With operations now covering 3,900 pin codes, the company has become one of the country’s most widely deployed charging networks, contributing to the expansion of clean mobility infrastructure.
A significant share of the installations stems from partnerships with automotive manufacturers such as Mahindra and Bajaj. By combining OEM-linked charging ecosystems with its independent network, Kazam aims to improve access and convenience for EV users across urban and semi-urban regions.
The milestone comes as India works towards achieving 30 per cent EV penetration by 2030. Reliable charging infrastructure remains a key factor in enabling this transition, and Kazam’s presence across residential, commercial, and fleet segments is positioned to help address that challenge.
The company’s platform, which is compatible with multiple hardware and vehicle types, has delivered more than 45 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of energy so far. It is also piloting projects integrating battery storage and peer-to-peer energy trading.
“Crossing one lakh installations marks steady progress in building India’s EV ecosystem,” said Akshay Shekhar, Chief Executive Officer, Kazam. “Our partnerships and nationwide reach reflect our goal of making charging accessible and dependable for all EV users.”
Kazam’s latest achievement places it among the country’s leading players in EV infrastructure, reinforcing its role in supporting India’s broader clean energy and transport transition.
