Saatvik Bags Rs 177.5 Cr Solar Module Orders
Fresh utility and C&I contracts for high-efficiency solar modules underline steady demand for domestic suppliers in India’s renewables build-out
Gurugram-based Saatvik Green Energy has secured fresh orders worth Rs 177.50 crore through its material subsidiary, Saatvik Solar Industries, for the supply of solar photovoltaic modules to projects across several states.
The contracts from independent power producers and EPC developers cover high-efficiency modules for utility-scale, commercial and industrial installations. Deliveries will be aligned with project schedules, adding to the company’s order-book visibility over the coming quarters.
Demand From Developers
The orders come amid rising procurement of solar equipment by grid-scale and corporate buyers seeking predictable power costs and compliance with emerging sustainability goals. This has supported demand for established module makers with a track record on quality and timely supply.
Prashant Mathur, chief executive of Saatvik Green Energy, said the latest contracts reflect the confidence of IPPs and EPC players in the company’s “quality, reliability and delivery capabilities”, and strengthen its near-term outlook.
Domestic Manufacturing Edge
The company said it continues to see firm demand across utility, commercial and industrial segments, backed by its manufacturing capacity, quality systems and customer-focused delivery.
For project developers, sourcing from domestic manufacturers also aligns with policy emphasis on expanding local renewable manufacturing, even as India accelerates the addition of solar capacity to its power mix.
