Adani Green Sets Up New Renewable Energy Arm

Step-down subsidiary Adani Ecogen Five incorporated to develop solar and wind power projects

Adani Green Energy has incorporated a new step-down subsidiary, Adani Ecogen Five, to undertake renewable power generation, the company said in a regulatory filing on Friday.

The subsidiary was incorporated on January 1, 2026, in India and is registered with the Registrar of Companies, Ahmedabad. It is yet to commence business operations.

According to the filing, Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy, has incorporated Adani Ecogen Five as its wholly owned subsidiary. Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven holds 100 per cent of the share capital of the new entity.

The main objective of Adani Ecogen Five is to generate, develop, distribute, transmit, sell and supply electricity using renewable sources such as solar and wind energy, as well as other clean energy technologies.

The newly incorporated company has an authorised and paid-up share capital of Rs 1 lakh, the filing said.
