Tata Power Renewable Energy to set up 12.5 MW captive solar plant in Maharashtra

The facility is projected to churn out 27.5 million units (MUs) of electricity annually, aiding Endurance Technologies in trimming their carbon footprints and curbing an estimated 9,125 metric tonnes of carbon emissions each year

Through a special purpose vehicle (SPV), TP Green Nature , a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company , Endurance Technologies  has signed a Power Delivery Agreement (PDA) with Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL) for the development of a 12.5MW AC Captive Solar Plant. The plant would be built in Maharashtra’s Aachegaon and produce 27.5 million units (MUs) of electricity annually. This will lessen the carbon footprints of Endurance Technologies and prevent about 9,125 metric tonnes (MT) of carbon emissions each year. After the PDA is signed, the project is anticipated to be finished within a year.

The yearly power generation capacity of this solar power plant in operation is 18.7 million units (MUs).TPREL has proven to be exceptionally skilled at customising captive energy solutions for a range of industries, including steel, hotel, real estate, auto components, polymer, and others, and delivering them in a reliable, economical, and environmentally friendly manner.

protecting natural resources, a significant turning point on our  to green energy  for a sustainable future is represented by the captive solar facility. The projected captive solar power facility would bring the total renewable energy capacity of TPREL’s portfolio to 7,889 MW. This highlights TPREL’s commitment to increasing its clean energy footprint and comprises 3,701 MW of projects that are in various phases of development. The company now has an operational capacity of 4,188 MW, which is made up of 3,185 MW of solar and 1,003 MW  of solar and 1,003 MW of wind energy.
