Homai Ardeshir Daruwalla Joins GPS Renewables As Independent Director
Former Chairperson of Central Bank of India to lend her expertise to the world’s largest biogas engineering company, driving growth in India’s clean energy transition
GPS Renewables, the world’s largest biogas engineering company, has announced the appointment of Homai Ardeshir Daruwalla, the former Chairman and Managing Director of the Central Bank of India, as an Independent Director to its board.
Homai Daruwalla, a highly regarded business leader, brings with her decades of experience in the financial and banking sectors. In addition to her prominent role at the Central Bank of India, she has held several significant positions at leading organizations, including serving as an independent director at Vizag Seaport, Reliance Financial, and Reliance Securities. Her past contributions have also included sitting on the boards of major companies such as Triveni Engineering and Industries, NTPC, and Gammon Infrastructure Projects.
With an extensive leadership track record, including her tenure as the chairperson at The Zoroastrian Co-operative Bank Ltd. and executive director at Oriental Bank of Commerce, Daruwalla’s wealth of knowledge in managing large-scale businesses will be an asset to GPS Renewables as the company seeks to enhance its impact on India’s bioenergy sector.
