Cropin, an AI platform focused on food and agriculture, has achieved the Google Cloud Ready – Sustainability designation under the Google Cloud Partner Advantage Program. This recognition comes as the company continues to expand its efforts in developing solutions designed to support sustainability and help businesses meet their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives.
The designation highlights Cropin’s work with Google cloud in driving climate-smart agricultural practices across more than 100 countries. Cropin Cloud, the company’s platform, provides tools to help agri-food businesses reduce carbon emissions, improve sustainability across supply chains, and assess climate risks. These tools are particularly aimed at supporting sustainable sourcing and enhancing traceability in the agricultural sector.
Cropin’s platform, which uses AI and machine learning models, also addresses key environmental challenges such as reducing carbon footprints and managing water usage. One of its features includes the Disease Early Warning System (DEWS), designed to minimize pesticide use, as well as forecasting future crop yields. The platform also works to help businesses comply with international sustainability regulations like the European Union’s Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
As part of the Google Cloud Ready – Sustainability program, Cropin’s solutions will be made available to customers through the Google Cloud Marketplace Sustainability Hub. This will allow businesses to discover and access sustainability solutions powered by Google Cloud, aimed at supporting climate-smart business transformations.
