Hinduja Foundation Names Raman Kalyanakrishnan As CEO To Lead Social Impact Initiatives


Kalyankrishnan will oversee the Foundation’s work in healthcare, water stewardship, rural development, education, and sustainability

The Hinduja Foundation, the philanthropic entity of the Hinduja Group, has appointed Raman Kalyanakrishnan as its Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase of its social impact initiatives.

Kalyanakrishnan brings over three decades of experience, including 21 years in the corporate sector and nine years in philanthropy. He will oversee the Foundation’s work in healthcare, water stewardship, rural development, education, and sustainability, with a focus on expanding impact and strengthening community engagement.

I look forward to working closely with the team and our partners to further the Foundation’s mission of inclusive development through innovation, collaboration, and empathy. Together, we will build on the Foundation’s strong base to deepen our impact across rural development, water stewardship, education, and cultural preservation” said Kalyanakrishnan.

Before joining the Hinduja Foundation, he was associated with the Tata Trusts and has held leadership roles at Tata Strategic Management Group, Bharti Airtel, Mattel Toys, and Arvind Fashions. He holds a postgraduate diploma in management from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
