Acme Solar To Raise Rs 3,000 Cr In Multiple Tranches
This move is aimed at strengthening the company’s capital base and supporting future growth initiatives in the renewable energy sector
Acme Solar Holdings’ board has approved plans to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore in one or more tranches through various equity and equity-linked instruments.
The fundraising will be carried out via qualified institutional placement (QIP), further public offer (FPO), private placement or a combination of these routes, subject to regulatory approvals. The move is aimed at strengthening the company’s capital base and supporting future growth initiatives in the renewable energy sector.
At the same meeting, the board cleared the re-appointment of Shashi Shekhar as Vice-Chairman and Whole-Time Director for a period of one-year, effective 9 April 2026, following the completion of his current term. The re-appointment was based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
