Former United States President Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project declared to start the Reality Tour to build the political will, public momentum, and ambition for bold climate commitments leading up to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC’s) Cop 30 in Brazil.

The initiative will use state-of-the-art AI provided by technology from Metaphysic, enabling people from around the world to tune in live to learn the latest about climate impacts and solutions.

Kicking off 28–30 March in Paris, France – the city that is home to the historic Paris Agreement that galvanised climate action globally 10 years ago, the tour will also hold major multi-day in-person trainings for advocates in Nairobi, Kenya; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

This will be followed by branch-led advocacy training in Climate Reality branches Worldwide.

Additionally, through the online global experience, in addition to in-person training events, Climate Reality is establishing a dedicated digital platform with content from the global training in Paris. Those who sign up will be able to watch former Vice President Al Gore’s climate presentation in any of the 12 available languages – Hindi, Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Bengali, English, French, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, and Urdu. The experience will be available for audiences worldwide through COP 30 in November.

With emissions, temperatures, and anti-climate action rhetoric rising worldwide, world leaders are in danger of missing critical 2030 emissions reduction targets. This tour will rally people worldwide to make their voices heard and encourage public and private sector decision-makers to take ambitious and necessary action to avert climate catastrophe – at COP 30 and beyond.
