Arya.ag and Bayer Foundation India collaborated to organise the RITH-Climate Summit ’23, which focused on empowering small farmers for a sustainable future. It brought together important players to talk about farming practices that are climate resilient.

Anand Chandra, the co-founder and executive director of Arya.ag, gave a welcoming speech and offered insightful information about promoting regenerative and climate-resilient farming practices with the goal of facilitating successful transactions with market participants.

The initiative, according to Prasanna Rao, Co-Founder & CEO of Arya.ag, is a group effort to bring about constructive change in Indian agriculture and build a more resilient and sustainable future for small farmers. Franklin L. Khobung, Joint Secretary (NRM/RFS) of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, was the distinguished guest at the function.

The panel talks that were a part of the RITH-Climate Summit ’23 offered a thorough examination of important topics associated with climate-resilient agriculture.

The first panel addressed the difficulties in making the switch to climate-resilient production, emphasising the need to provide farmers with incentives for adopting appropriate packages of practices.

In order to achieve real climate impacts, the second panel discussed the practical side of “Actionising Climate Goals” and emphasised the importance of establishing links between business and community-based projects.
