Bansal Wire Industries Unveils India’s Largest Steel Wire Plant In Dadri

With 3.6 lakh MTPA capacity and cutting-edge sustainability features, the facility sets a new benchmark in innovation, automation, and green manufacturing
In a major stride toward strengthening India’s industrial and infrastructure capabilities, Bansal Wire Industries (BWIL) has inaugurated the country’s largest and most advanced steel wire manufacturing facility in Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. With a starting capacity of 3.6 lakh metric tonne per annum (MTPA)—scalable to 4.2 lakh MTPA by FY26—the plant is designed to eventually support up to 6 lakh MTPA, setting a new standard for the wire manufacturing sector.
The facility is engineered to serve high-growth industries such as automotive, construction, agriculture, power, and general engineering while emphasizing sustainability and environmental responsibility. Key green features include solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting, zero-acid wire cleaning, and a fully integrated Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
The Dadri plant also boasts a fully equipped R&D centre, focused on next-generation wire products like Induction Tempered, Oil Tempered, LRPC, and Brass Coated Reinforced Wires. These products are aimed at both domestic and export markets, and will support applications in infrastructure, transport, and automation.
“This facility is a symbol of our future-ready vision and our commitment to making world-class products in India,” said Pranav Bansal, CEO & MD, BWIL. “It represents not just industrial growth, but our dedication to technology, precision engineering, and sustainable progress.”
Certified under ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 underway, the plant also prioritizes worker safety, automation, and community upliftment, having already created hundreds of job opportunities in the region.
