Boson Whitewater Partners With IAPMO India To Standardise & Validate Recycled Water

The MoU will focus on the standardisation of recycled water, workforce training, and equipment compliance, enhancing the quality and safety of recycled water solutions

Boson Whitewater, a leading water utility company specializing in converting STP-treated water into high-quality potable water, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) India. The partnership aims to set new standards for recycled water production, provide expert training for Boson’s team, and ensure compliance for plumbing-related products in advanced water solutions.

Under the terms of the MoU, the focus will be on the standardization and validation of Boson Whitewater’s ‘Whitewater’ (recycled water), implementing specialized skill training for its workforce, and ensuring that all equipment meets required standards. Additionally, IAPMO India will incorporate a zero liquid discharge policy within its own premises, promoting minimal water wastage in line with Boson Whitewater’s innovative 11-step filtration process.

K Chandrashekhar, Managing Director of IAPMO India, commented on the collaboration: “IAPMO India and Boson Whitewater share a common vision of promoting safe and sustainable water practices. We continuously seek partnerships with companies that offer unique solutions to global challenges like water scarcity and safety. Boson Whitewater’s extensive experience in water treatment makes them an ideal partner. This MoU will help us ensure the highest standard of recycled water, validated through scientific methods and aligned with safety benchmarks.”

Vikas Brahmavar, CEO and Co-founder of Boson Whitewater, expressed the company’s commitment to ensuring the highest water quality through advanced filtration techniques. “The technology we’ve developed and the rigorous filtration process we follow ensure that our recycled water meets the highest standards of safety and quality. This partnership with IAPMO India not only validates our solution but also helps overcome psychological barriers around the use of recycled water,” he said.

The collaboration between Boson Whitewater and IAPMO India is a significant step towards enhancing the sustainability and safety of recycled water in India. With growing concerns about water scarcity, initiatives like this are crucial in addressing both environmental and public health challenges by ensuring that recycled water is safe, reliable, and compliant with global standards.
