Among the best initiatives undertaken during this campaign, the PSUs under the Ministry have shown commendable efforts. One such initiative involved addressing the issue of single-use plastic waste. This practice resulted in the conversion of discarded plastics into paver blocks and bricks, adding value to what was once considered waste. The campaign has also seen the construction of rainwater harvesting structures at various locations, including the Rajmahal area, the CISF camp at Sonepur Bazari area, and the Mugmu area. A cleanliness drive at 62 different locations garnered significant success with enthusiastic participation from all stakeholders. In the realm of environmental sustainability, a beautiful garden at the Jagannath Area Regional Store under the Jagannath Area of MCL has been developed using scrap materials.
