EcoMedia Solutions Unveils First Tech Platform for Sustainable Media

Debut of the EMS platform aims to bring carbon intelligence and accountability to advertising and activation industry

EcoMedia Solutions (EcoMS) has entered India’s sustainability landscape with an integrated solutions model that positions sustainability not as a vertical but as the core of modern business strategy. Founded by sustainability strategist Rumjhum Gupta, the new company aims to help organisations move from intent to measurable impact through a mix of technology, data, consulting, compliance, and communication.

As per the press release the start comes at a time when companies are under pressure to balance growth with environmental responsibility, EcoMS offers services spanning sustainability strategy, SDG consulting, BRSR and ESG reporting, carbon management, offsetting solutions, circular economy models, and sustainability-led communication.

“At a time when the world is racing to balance growth with responsibility, sustainability can no longer be an add-on,” said Founder and CEO Rumjhum Gupta. “EcoMS was created to help businesses achieve this alignment through actionable, tech-backed, and measurable frameworks that translate sustainability ambition into tangible outcomes.”

As part of its launch, the company unveiled EMS (Environment Media Solutions), a patent-filed platform and India’s first unified system to integrate sustainability intelligence into media planning, buying, and event execution.

Designed for advertisers, agencies, and event organisers, EMS measures, manages, and reports sustainability performance across OOH, DOOH, print, digital, and experiential formats. It supports green procurement, circular-economy integration, BRSR-compliant reporting, and real-time carbon analytics.

“EMS is not just a product, it’s proof that technology can make sustainability measurable and actionable,” Gupta said. “It helps brands and agencies strike a balance between creativity, accountability, and climate consciousness.”

With India’s advertising and activation industry growing at nearly 20 percent annually, sustainability has emerged as a decisive factor in procurement. Yet there is limited standardisation in measuring environmental impact across campaigns. EMS aims to fill this gap by giving brands the ability to demonstrate climate accountability and comply with emerging ESG mandates.

EcoMS is also developing additional technology-driven sustainability tools focused on carbon accounting, compliance intelligence, and responsible supply chains.
