EET Fuels Appoints Adrian Curry as Chief Decarbonisation Officer

EET Fuels, the trading name of Essar Oil (UK), has informed the appointment of Adrian Curry as its Chief Decarbonisation Officer, effective from 2 September 2024. In this new role, Adrian will spearhead the company’s energy transition strategy, aiming to establish one of the world’s leading low-carbon process refineries.

His background includes roles as Chair, Managing Director, and Board member, where he has successfully driven the growth of disruptive businesses, large-scale manufacturing, and major capital projects. His recent positions include Strategic Advisor and Managing Director at Encirc, Non-Executive Director at Glass Futures, and membership on several boards including British Glass, the Gallo Glass Company, and the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership. He has also served on the San Telmo Business School International Advisory Board.

Adrian’s educational background includes certifications in Business Administration and Management from Timoney Leadership School, an Advanced Management Programme from IESE Business School, and a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown.
