 EKA Mobility the Electric Vehicle maker promised it would supply 1000 intercity electric buses to GreenCell Mobility. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two firms states that the company will provide GreenCell Mobility with 1,000 intercity electric buses in the 12- and 13.5-meter categories over the course of the next few years, according to a statement from EKA Mobility.

EKA Mobility undertook the responsibility for the supply, sales and service of these buses, along with delivering quality certification reports. “Our collaboration with GreenCell Mobility is strategically positioned to usher in a cleaner, more sustainable future through electric mass transportation,” EKA Mobility Founder and Chairman Sudhir Mehta said, according to media reports.

GreenCell Mobility MD and CEO Devendra Chawla emphasised that this partnership not only strengthens the position in the market but also significantly aligns with long-term vision for sustainable mobility.
