The strategic revelation in Ayodhya aims to facilitate devotees visiting the sacred site, marking the beginning of the integration of electric mobility into cultural and religious events 

 According to reports, ETO Motors has recently received a sizable contract to install 500 electric three-wheelers throughout Uttar Pradesh, with a focus on Ayodhya. According to the corporation, ETO Motors has been given the task of deploying and overseeing the use of these electric three-wheelers in major cities such as Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Agra, Mathura, and Gorakhpur by the Uttar Pradesh government through a Letter of Award (LoA).

Notably, ETO Motors has been given permission to begin the deployment on schedule, with an emphasis on Ayodhya, in conjunction with the opening of the Ram Temple. According to the firm, this strategic launch in Ayodhya is intended to make it easier for devotees to visit the holy place and represents a big step towards incorporating electric mobility into religious and cultural events.

The director of ETO Motors, Karthik S. Ponnapula, emphasised the wider implications of their e-three-wheelers, characterising them as change agents that promote social empowerment and economic development while maintaining a dedication to environmental conservation.

Along with this deployment, ETO Motors and Uber have established a collaboration to develop an effective and sustainable electric mobility solution for urban transit. The partnership intends to transform how people move throughout cities by utilising ETO Motors’ experience with electric car technology, Uber’s vast network, and its cutting-edge ride-sharing platform, according to the company’s official statement.

Director of Supply Operations for Uber India and South Asia Shiva Shailendran expressed excitement about the collaboration, saying, “We are excited to work with ETO Motors to deliver EV autorickshaws to the holy city of Ayodhya. We are dedicated to making the journey for both visitors and residents as the city prepares to become one of the most sought-after travel destinations.” This collaboration demonstrates a shared dedication to using sustainable electric mobility solutions to improve the commuting experience in Ayodhya and beyond.
