Global Charging Tech & Solutions To Debut At Bharat Battery Show 2025
Innovative charging technologies from Germany, USA, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and China will be unveiled at the Bharat Battery Show, showcasing cutting-edge solutions and international collaborations in support of India’s EV revolution
India’s electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure is set for a major upgrade with the government’s PM E-Drive program, which has allocated Rs 2000 crore for fast-charging solutions. This initiative aims to transition India from slow charging to faster, more efficient charging technologies, positioning the country as a global hub for EV innovations.
To further bolster this vision, the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) is organizing the Bharat Battery Show, which will be held from 19th to 21 January 2025 as part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo at Bharat Mandapam in central New Delhi. Over 80 global industry players, including innovators from Germany, the USA, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and China, will showcase over 20 groundbreaking product launches, new factory announcements, and international partnerships in the charging technology space.
India currently boasts around 20,000 public charging stations and several household stations catering to electric two-wheelers, e-rickshaws, and cars. The PM E-Drive program and events like the Bharat Battery Show aim to further advance these capabilities, introducing cutting-edge charging solutions, fast-charging stations, and other EV infrastructure technologies.
Notable participants at the Bharat Battery Show include Everta, which is set to launch DC chargers for electric cars, and Yuma Energy, a joint venture between Yulu and Magna, which will showcase its Gen 5 Battery and innovative DIY Charging Units. Charging infrastructure providers and operators like Chogori, Bolt Earth, Lubi EV, and TVS Sirius, along with testing agencies such as Automotive Test Systems (ATS), will also be featured.
Mindra EV will present an advanced Modular Housing Unit integrating a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a Turbo EV Charger, while Neenjas Electric is launching India’s first Digital On-Board Charger (OBC) at 3.3 kW, designed specifically for Indian conditions. Battrixx will reveal its new brand identity and focus on expanding into e-mobility and electronics.
IESA President, Debi Prasad Dash, emphasized, “The Bharat Battery Show is a unique opportunity for industry stakeholders to come together and showcase the future of EV charging infrastructure. Participants will interact with both OEMs and charging solution providers, fostering collaboration to accelerate EV adoption in India.”
The Bharat Battery Show will also host a series of knowledge sessions, including the ‘Accelerating EV Adoption – Future of Fast Charging’ seminar on January 20, as well as pre-event conferences on battery manufacturing and recycling. The event will feature dedicated pavilions focused on battery tech, recycling, and charging infrastructure, underlining India’s leadership in sustainable mobility and clean energy solutions.
As India prepares to lead the global mobility revolution, the Bharat Battery Show serves as a vital platform for demonstrating the country’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and a greener future.
