Mahindra Subsidiary Ties Up With E-waste Management Firm Attero

The partnership between MLMML and Attero is specifically focused on the sustainability and recycling/reuse of lithium-ion batteries 

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility (MLMML) said that it has partnered with Attero, an e-waste management company and with a company that recycles lithium-ion batteries.

The firm, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, said in a statement that the strategic partnership, which is centred on efficient EV battery recycling, is an attempt to address the environmental issues related to safe electric vehicle battery disposal.

A variety of electric three-wheelers, including the Treo, Treo Plus, Treo Zor, Treo Yaari and Zor Grand, are sold by MLMML.

According to the corporation, the relationship between MLMML and Attero is particularly concentrated on the sustainability and recycling/reuse of lithium-ion batteries.

MLMML’s Managing Director and CEO, Suman Mishra, expressed the company’s commitment to promote eco-friendly transportation and advancing toward a more sustainable future through their collaboration with Attero as the preferred partner for Li-ion battery disposal.

Nitin Gupta, CEO and Co-Founder of Attero Recycling, emphasised the effectiveness of their advanced solutions, supported by years of expertise, in ensuring unparalleled efficiency in the recovery and recycling of electric vehicle batteries.
