Max Healthcare Foundation Expands Medical Scholarship To 100 Students

Each scholarship covers tuition fees, study materials, a personal laptop, essential medical tools such as a bone set, dissection kit and stethoscope, along with a monthly allowance and mentorship opportunities
Max Healthcare Foundation has unveiled the third edition of its flagship Max Medical Scholarship Programme, pledging to fully fund the MBBS education of 100 meritorious students from economically weaker sections for the 2025-26 academic year.
The initiative, among the largest annual scholarship grants for medical education in India, supports students who have cleared Neet and secured admission to government medical colleges in Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Dehradun, and Bathinda. In addition to fresh awards, the programme will continue to fund scholars selected in previous years, ensuring uninterrupted support through their five-year MBBS journey.
“Financial constraints often force bright students from underprivileged backgrounds to abandon their dreams of becoming doctors,” said Taruna Soi, Chairperson, Max Healthcare Foundation. “This programme reflects our commitment to nurturing talent, breaking systemic barriers, and shaping a more inclusive and healthier tomorrow.”
Applications will be accepted until September 20, 2025, via www.maxhealthcarefoundation.org. The selection process includes socio-economic evaluation, Neet rank assessment, and interviews, overseen by a jury from the Foundation.
