MoveInSync’s Goal To Cut Scope 1 & 2 Emissions By 55% Gains SBTi Approval

MoveInSync, a provider of enterprise commute solutions, has received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its near-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction targets. With this approval, MoveInSync joins over 7,300 organisations globally, including 221 Indian companies, that have set science-based carbon reduction targets under the SBTi.

Deepesh Agarwal Co-founder and CEO at MoveInSync, stated, “The validation of our near-term targets by SBTi marks a major step forward in our sustainability efforts. Our business has always been driven by our need to contribute positively towards the environment and we are glad we are well on course. We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint while we help organizations adopt sustainable commute solutions, while prioritizing environmental responsibility.”

This validation confirms that MoveInSync’s emissions reduction goals align with the latest climate science and the global objective of limiting temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels.

MoveInSync’s targets cover Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, addressing its direct operations and broader value chain. By FY2033, MoveInSync aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 55 per cent from a FY2023 baseline and cut absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 35 per cent within the same timeframe.

These targets reflect MoveInSync’s commitment to driving sustainability in corporate mobility and reducing its environmental footprint across its operations and ecosystem.

With this milestone, MoveInSync continues to strengthen its leadership in sustainable corporate mobility, leveraging innovation to support companies in achieving their net-zero goals.
