The event will bring together diplomats, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss green finance, renewable energy, and EV advancements, while recognising innovators driving India’s sustainability efforts

The National Summit & Indian Climate Leader Awards 2025, set for March 5th in New Delhi, will spotlight “Green Finance and Investments: Achieving Net Zero by 2070.” Organised by the Association of Financial Advisors of India (AFAI), the event aims to drive India’s decarbonisation efforts. Resurgent India is the presenting partner for the event.

Several diplomats, policymakers, and industry leaders, including Kenneth Felix Haczynski da Nobrega, Ambassador of Brazil; Sudhendu J. Sinha, Advisor, Niti Aayog; and Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Chairman and Managing Director of REC, will be in attendance. Finance and industry experts such as Abhay Bakre, Mission Director at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy; Rohit Kumar, Secretary General of the Carbon Markets Association of India, and others will also be present.

The summit will host a series of focused sessions exploring innovative financing solutions for renewable energy projects like solar and wind energy, strategies for widespread EV adoption, and fostering advancements in clean technologies. It will also host a Finance Expert Round Table Meet on green energy and EV industry advancements.

The Indian Climate Leader Awards (ICLA Awards 2025) will honor pioneers and innovators across financial institutions, cleantech enterprises, renewable energy, and EV players who have made significant strides in advancing sustainable solutions.
