Premier Energies Bags Rs 2,703 Cr Solar Module, Cell Orders

The projects will be executed across fiscal years 2026 and 2027, reflecting robust demand for domestic solar manufacturing
Renewable energy manufacturer Premier Energies has secured orders worth Rs 2,703 crore for the supply of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and cells, strengthening its position in India’s growing clean energy sector.
The orders have been placed with Premier Energies and its subsidiaries Premier Energies Photovoltaic, Premier Energies Global Environment, and Premier Energies International. Together, they account for an aggregate supply capacity of 2,059 megawatts (MW).
“The projects will be executed across fiscal years 2026 and 2027, reflecting robust demand for domestic solar manufacturing at a time when India is scaling up its renewable energy capacity to meet its 2030 and net-zero 2070 targets”, according to the company
Industry analysts note that the order book reinforces Premier Energies’ role as a leading player in the solar manufacturing value chain, with capacity expansions aligning with the government’s Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for solar modules.
The development underscores the increasing momentum in India’s renewable energy landscape, as both public and private sectors push for larger solar deployment to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and enhance energy security.
