At the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance would build India’s first carbon fibre facility at Hazira and work towards making the state the world’s leading green growth destination

 Reliance has deliberately invested more than USD150 billion (12 lakh crore) over the last ten years in developing world-class resources and capabilities throughout India, with more than one-third of these investments being focused in Gujarat. Reliance’s chief executive, Mukesh Ambani, emphasised the company’s dedication to helping Gujarat achieve its audacious goal of obtaining half of its energy from renewable sources by 2030. He claimed that by doing this, the state will be positioned as a global leader in sustainable growth.

 As part of its strategy, Reliance is building the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex in Jamnagar, which spans more than 5,000 acres. Slated for debut in the second half of 2024, the complex seeks to produce countless green jobs while facilitating the manufacture of environmentally friendly products and resources, placing Gujarat as a main exporter of such items.

In the future, Reliance intends to support India’s bid for the Olympics in 2036, working with a number of Gujarati partners. In order to produce future Olympians in a variety of sports, the emphasis will be on improving sports, education, and skill development infrastructure. Ambani highlighted the Reliance Foundation’s and Reliance’s combined efforts in this project.

Ambani declared in a statement that there is no power on earth that could stop India from becoming a 35 trillion dollar economy by the year 2047. He was full of hope about the country’s economic future. And by then, Gujarat alone would have a USD 3 trillion economy, in my opinion.” These developments highlight how important Reliance is to promoting sustainability and economic success, especially in Gujarat’s dynamic environment.
