Runaya Inaugurates State-of-the-art Calcium Aluminate Plant In Odisha’s Jharsuguda

Runaya, a sustainable manufacturing and recycling firm has inaugurated its Calcium Aluminate Plant in Odisha’s Jharsuguda in a move towards environmental leadership and technological advancement within the industry.

The company in a statement said that the plant is at the center of technology-enabled innovation. With a capacity of 12,000 metric tonne per annum, this facility is expected to deliver green premium products to customers across the steel industry.

The Calcium Aluminate Plant represents a strategic expansion of Runaya’s Green Aluminium portfolio, introducing the environmentally friendly RuCal Green, Calcium Aluminate to its steel slag conditioner segment. To be operated solely on 100 per cent green and renewable energy sources by FY25, the company is expecting to set a new benchmark for sustainability within the industry.

Agarwal mentioned that their flagship project recovers aluminium from dross, addressing a major industry challenge. Through their innovation-driven efforts, they’ve amassed a portfolio of patents, showcasing their unwavering dedication to technological advancement.
