Saatvik Green Energy Wins 1,500 Solar Water Pump Deal

Project to deploy 3HP–7.5HP solar pump sets across districts under state and central schemes
Saatvik Green Energy has received a letter of award (LoA) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for the installation of 1,500 solar water pumping systems under the Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojana (MTSKPY) and the PM-Kusum-B – B Scheme for the year 2025–26.
The project will be implemented across multiple districts in Maharashtra and includes solar pump sets of 3HP, 5HP, and 7.5HP capacities. These systems are aimed at supporting off-grid solar irrigation for farmers in the region.
According to the contract terms, Saatvik Green Energy will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of the systems directly at farmers’ locations. The contract also includes a five-year warranty, ongoing repair and maintenance, and deployment of a Remote Monitoring System (RMS).
The PM-Kusum scheme, launched by the Government of India, is designed to promote solar energy use in agriculture by replacing conventional pumps with solar-powered alternatives. The latest allocation under this scheme continues efforts to reduce rural dependence on grid electricity and diesel.
