Saatvik Green Energy Wins Rs 13.5 Cr Solar Pump Order From MSEDCL

Order under PM-Kusum scheme strengthens company’s presence in decentralised solar solutions for agriculture

Saatvik Green Energy has secured a Rs 13.50 crore order from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for the supply and installation of off-grid solar water pumping systems under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, part of the PM-Kusum scheme.

The order covers the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 815 DC solar photovoltaic water pumps of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP capacities at farmers’ sites across select districts of Maharashtra. It also includes a five-year warranty along with repair, maintenance and remote monitoring services. The value of the contract is exclusive of goods and services tax.

The company said the installation and commissioning will be completed within 60 days from the issue of the notice to proceed by the relevant MSEDCL circle office. The order does not involve any related party transactions or promoter interest.

Listed on the BSE and NSE, Saatvik Green Energy is a domestic manufacturer of solar photovoltaic modules with an installed capacity of around 3.8 GW as of June 2025. Incorporated in 2015, the company supplies modules for residential, commercial and utility-scale projects and is also active in EPC services and solar pump installations under national renewable energy programmes.

The latest order adds to Saatvik’s growing presence in the decentralised solar segment, which is being driven by government-backed schemes aimed at reducing farmers’ dependence on grid power and diesel pumps.
