SCHWING Stetter India introduces sustainable construction equipment aimed at advancing India’s 2070 net-zero target
At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 held from January 19 to 22 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, SCHWING Stetter India unveiled its latest eco-friendly innovations in the construction equipment sector. The company highlighted its commitment to sustainability with advanced machinery focused on reducing carbon emissions, promoting waste recycling, and enhancing fire safety.
Among the showcased products were C&D waste crushers, a concrete recycling plant (RA), the FBP 29 Truck Mixer Pump, and the AWT 36 Articulating Water Tower, all designed to boost efficiency and minimize environmental impact. SCHWING Stetter India’s focus on reducing construction and demolition (C&D) waste was evident, with the introduction of C&D waste handling systems capable of recycling concrete waste, a growing challenge in India.

Sakthikumar, Chairman & Managing Director, SCHWING Stetter India, emphasized the company’s role in supporting India’s 2070 net-zero goal, stating that the company’s recycling solutions could significantly address concrete waste, estimated at 750 million tonne annually in the country. He also highlighted the FBP 29 as a groundbreaking product for the ready-mix concrete and road infrastructure sectors, combining transportation, mixing, and delivery while reducing emissions.
