Singapore Airlines Group And Mandai Wildlife Group Forge Strategic Partnership To Promote Tourism And Wildlife Conservation

The partnership will offer SIA customers curated wildlife experiences, co-branded retail merchandise, and exclusive privileges at Mandai Wildlife Reserve

Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group and Mandai Wildlife Group have entered into a three-year strategic partnership aimed at boosting inbound tourism to Singapore while supporting regional wildlife conservation efforts. The collaboration combines SIA’s global reach with Mandai’s rich biodiversity experiences to position Singapore as a leading global destination and a “City in Nature.”

The partnership will offer SIA customers curated wildlife experiences, co-branded retail merchandise, and exclusive privileges at Mandai Wildlife Reserve – home to Singapore’s renowned wildlife attractions including the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise, and the soon-to-open Rainforest Wild Asia. These efforts align with Singapore’s long-term vision of blending urban living with nature and conservation.

Under the agreement, SIA will also provide air travel sponsorships and logistical assistance for Mandai Wildlife Group’s conservation work. This includes the transfer of animals between accredited zoos globally and the repatriation of wildlife to their native habitats.

“This partnership strengthens our ability to offer our customers enhanced benefits, while supporting wildlife initiatives in Singapore and around the world,” said Vinod Kannan, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing, Singapore Airlines. “Combining the Singapore Airlines Group’s global reach with Mandai’s world-class wildlife attractions helps to enhance Singapore’s appeal as a leading global tourist destination.”

Belina Lee, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Transformation and Growth, Mandai Wildlife Group, added: “Two iconic Singapore brands have joined forces to create world-class experiences for global travellers, that also champion conservation. Every visit supports conservation in our wildlife parks, across Singapore and the region. Together with Singapore Airlines, we are excited to create exceptional ‘Conservation Included’ journeys where travellers can fly, stay, play, and explore – right here in Singapore.”

Travellers will gain access to a host of promotions and experiences through Pelago, SIA’s travel experiences platform. This includes bundled offerings for stays at the upcoming Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree and early access to co-branded products on KrisShop and Mandai’s retail outlets.

KrisFlyer members will enjoy added benefits such as bonus miles for ticket purchases to Mandai parks via Pelago, and the ability to redeem miles for immersive experiences like the new Colugo Camp—an all-inclusive camping programme launching later this year. Members will also receive launch perks for two upcoming indoor attractions, Curiosity Cove and Exploria, both designed to offer immersive and interactive wildlife experiences.

To extend the reach of conservation storytelling, SIA’s KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system will feature Mandai Wildlife Group content from August 2025. Passengers can watch The Great Migration: First Steps and New Eden, documentaries chronicling the relocation of Jurong Bird Park’s avian residents to their new habitat at Bird Paradise.
