Waaree Energy Starts All-on-one Solar Kit To Power India’s Rooftop Revolution

Waaree Radiance aims to simplify residential solar adoption and aligns with PM’s Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana

Mumbai-based Waaree Energies has unveiled its latest innovation, the Waaree Radiance all-in-one Solar Kit, designed to accelerate and simplify rooftop solar adoption across Indian households. In line with the government’s Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the new product promises to eliminate complexity from the solar installation process, offering homeowners a plug-and-play solution to meet their energy needs.

The company’s newest offering arrives at a critical juncture for India’s clean energy sector, with over 10 lakh rooftop solar installations already recorded under the Prime Minister’s flagship scheme as of March 2025. “Waaree Radiance, more than a product, is a commitment to India’s energy-independent future,” said Pankaj Vassal, President & Business Head-Retail, Waaree Energies. “By delivering a comprehensive, high-quality solar solution to every doorstep, we are empowering families to take control of their energy needs and contribute to the nation’s green ambitions.”

The Waaree Radiance kit consolidates everything required for a solar installation—solar modules, inverter, control boxes, lightning protection, earthing kit, and cables—into a single package, removing the hassle of sourcing and coordinating multiple components. Available in configurations ranging from 3 kW to 10 kW for residential use, and up to 5 MW for commercial and industrial applications, the kit can be purchased online through Waaree’s platform, Amazon, or Flipkart, with doorstep delivery and expert installation support.

Built with high-efficiency mono PERC or TOPCon modules and branded components like Waacab cables, the kit includes a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty on modules. It also qualifies for central subsidies of up to Rs 78,000, making rooftop solar even more affordable for Indian households. The entire system is manufactured in India, aligning with the government’s push for domestic production and clean tech innovation.

Commenting on the consumer-first approach, Nilesh Malani, Chief Marketing Officer at Waaree, said: “Our research showed that complexity and fragmentation were the biggest barriers to solar adoption. Waaree Radiance eliminates these pain points with a plug-and-play approach that makes going solar as simple as setting up a new appliance.”

The launch comes as India ramps up efforts to achieve 280 GW of solar PV capacity by 2030, with rooftop installations playing a central role in the transition. By simplifying access and removing logistical hurdles, Waaree Radiance could prove to be a pivotal driver in expanding clean energy access and making solar a household staple across the country.
